This Privacy Policy explains how Roomoo collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you visit roomoo.gr, submit or advertise a space, enquire about a listing, purchase a Roomoo service, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Platform.
Roomoo is operated by Roomoo by Brandvision, a business registered in Greece (“Roomoo”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

- billing and transaction information where you purchase a paid Roomoo service.
We only ask for personal information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant service or interaction.

- review listings against Roomoo’s publishing standards;
- respond to questions, reports and support requests;
- investigate suspected fraud, misuse or breaches of our Terms;
- protect Roomoo, its users and the security of the Platform;
- operate, maintain and improve roomoo.gr;
- comply with legal, accounting, tax and regulatory requirements; and
- send marketing communications where permitted by law.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

We may process information where reasonably necessary to operate and improve Roomoo, maintain security, prevent fraud or misuse, respond to enquiries, enforce our Terms and protect our rights or the rights of others, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

Information published in listings
Roomoo is a public listing platform. Information intended to form part of a listing may therefore be visible to visitors to roomoo.gr.
This may include:
- photographs and videos;
- general property location;
- room or space description;
- rent;
- deposit;
- bills and additional costs;
- availability;
- occupancy;
- amenities;
- property characteristics; and
- other information intentionally included in the listing.
Where contact information is made available through a listing, it may be used by prospective Tenants for the purpose of making a genuine enquiry about the advertised space.
Users must not use contact information obtained through Roomoo for spam, unsolicited marketing, harassment, data harvesting or other unrelated purposes.
Information collected solely for internal administration, billing, review or verification will not intentionally be published as part of a listing.
Communications between Advertisers and Tenants
Roomoo may enable prospective Tenants to contact Advertisers directly through contact details or functionality available on a listing.
Where communication takes place directly between a Tenant and an Advertiser outside Roomoo, Roomoo does not normally receive or store the contents of that communication.
If you contact Roomoo directly, submit a report or use a form operated by Roomoo, we may process the information you provide in order to respond to your request and maintain appropriate business records.
Payments
Roomoo offers paid services, including listing services and may offer additional services such as photography or video.
Where you make a payment, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment provider.
Roomoo may receive information relating to the transaction, such as your name, billing information, amount paid, transaction reference, date and payment status.
Where card details are entered directly into the payment provider’s systems, Roomoo does not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
Information relating to payments, invoices and transactions may also be retained where necessary to meet applicable accounting and tax obligations.
Who we share information with
We may share personal data with trusted service providers where reasonably necessary to operate Roomoo and provide our services.
These may include providers of:
- website hosting and infrastructure;
- cloud services;
- email and communications;
- website security;
- payment processing;
- forms and website functionality;
- analytics;
- maps and location services;
- photography and video services; and
- professional services such as accountants, lawyers and technical advisers.

Information relating to reports, disputes, suspected fraud or legal matters may be retained where reasonably necessary to investigate the matter or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
When personal data is no longer required, we will delete or anonymise it where appropriate.

Some service providers used by Roomoo may process personal data outside Greece or the European Economic Area (“EEA”).
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA and appropriate safeguards are required by applicable law, we will use a recognised transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards.

Roomoo’s services are intended for individuals aged 18 and over.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for the purpose of providing Roomoo’s listing or rental services.
