• Is Roomoo free for tenants?

  Yes. Searching Roomoo, viewing listings and contacting landlords is free for tenants. We don’t charge tenants a commission for finding a room.

• Do I need to create an account?

  You don’t need an account to browse rooms or contact a landlord through Roomoo.

• Are Roomoo listings verified?

  Every listing is manually reviewed against our Roomoo Standards before it goes live. We review the information and presentation provided to us, but this isn’t a physical property inspection or legal certification.

• How do I contact a landlord?

  You can contact the landlord or agent directly using the contact details provided on the listing. Roomoo doesn’t sit between you and the landlord.

• Can I arrange a video viewing?

  Yes. If you’re unable to visit in person, you can ask the landlord or agent whether they can arrange a video viewing. Some Roomoo listings may also include a professional video tour.

   

• What's included in the monthly rent?

  This varies by property. Each listing shows what’s included where that information has been provided, such as utilities, internet or cleaning. Always confirm the final costs with the landlord before agreeing to rent.

   

• Does Roomoo handle the tenancy agreement or deposit?

  No. The tenancy agreement, deposit, rent and other terms are agreed directly between the landlord and tenant. Roomoo is not a party to the rental agreement.

   

• How much does it cost to list a room?

  A Roomoo listing costs €62 for one month (24% TAX included). There is no commission and no automatic renewal.

   

• Will my listing renew automatically?

  No. One payment keeps your listing live for one month. At the end of that period, you can choose whether you want to advertise it for another month.

   

• How do I list my room?

  Send us your room and property details through the landlord form. We’ll review the information, prepare the listing and contact you if anything else is needed before publication.

   

• Can anyone publish a listing?

  Listings don’t go live automatically. Every submission is reviewed against the Roomoo Standards, and we may request additional information or photographs before publishing it.

• Do I need professional photographs?

  No. You can provide your own photographs and we’ll review them before publication. Roomoo also offers professional photography and video services if you’d like us to present the property for you.

• What happens when someone is interested in my room?

  They contact you directly. You can answer questions, arrange a viewing and decide together whether the room and living arrangement are a good fit.

• Does Roomoo take commission when I find a tenant?

  No. Roomoo charges for advertising the listing, not for successfully renting the room. We don’t take a percentage of the rent.

• What are the Roomoo Standards?

  The Roomoo Standards set out what we expect from listings, properties and the people using the platform: clear and honest information, suitable living spaces, transparent renting and respectful shared living.
